ihateironing Partners with Little Village to Clean Baby Essentials
ihateironing are proud to announce their partnership with partnering with Little Village, to clean their winter warmers and provide essential, clean clothes to families over the coming months. Through our network of London dry cleaners, we’re offering our free laundry services to ensure these preloved items are expertly cleaned and ready for new homes.
Little Village are a London-based charity of baby banks who provide much needed help to families with children under 5. They provide great quality clothes, shoes, beds, buggies, toys, books as well as nappies, wipes and other essential items.
Deborah Hopper, Corporate Account Manager at Little Village, said: “This year so far, we have supported 4,962 families who are going through incredibly challenging times and bringing them some relief and joy.”
Via their network of baby banks, the charity pass on loved goods from one family to another, so that babies can have access to the necessary things they need to thrive.
“We hope to be giving these preloved clothes and supplies a new lease on life,” says Matt Connelly, CEO & Founder of ihateironing, “so that they can have a big impact on a new family’s wellbeing.”
We understand all too well how many garments either go to waste or remain untouched in closets for years. This partnership with Little Village highlights an important message: by simply giving donated clothes a good clean and the right kind of care, they can be given a whole new life and make a real difference to someone in need.
“Since the start of October ihateironing have cleaned over 50 items including slings and buggy foot muffs, which are really essential to the families supported by Little Village,” says Deborah.
