Donate to the Brixton Library Workwear Scheme

As part of our partnership with Brixton Library, we’ve launched our Brixton Library Workwear Scheme to help low-income residents of South London dress for success. The aim of this scheme is to assist job seekers on their career pathways by helping them make a good impression for their interviews.
We are collecting clothes from our customers, professionally cleaning them, and donating them to the library. Every time the clothes are rented and returned, our master cleaners will clean them once again to make sure they’re always looking brand new before returning to the library.
Job seekers can borrow the clothes for a period of 4 days at a time so they can look their best for their interviews, and have the option of requesting garments for their interviews to make sure we have the clothes they need.
There’s two ways to donate to the Brixton Library Workwear Scheme:
We collect donations from customers in the following postcodes:
CR0, CR2, CR7, SE19, SE20, SE21, SE22, SE23, SE24, SE25, SE26, SE27, SW16.
Simply include an extra bag (not an IHI bag) labelled ‘donations’ upon your next collection, and let us know in the special requirement section of your order.
If you live outside of these postcodes, you can still donate your clothes directly by mailing them to our head offices at the below address:

Please include a note stating: “Items for Donation to the Workwear Scheme“
Please only donate new or nearly new smart wear which can be worn to interviews.
We hope that we can continue to engage with libraries across the capital to expand this initiative and help out more and more local communities adversely affected by unemployment.
